Which Parts of the body can Cryolipolysis Coolsculpting® be used on?

The stomach can be treated both above and below the belly button. Depending on the targeted surface area, Dr Benjamin Cozanet will set up a treatment road map using 1-4 applicators across the targeted zone. 

• The high hips can equally be treated with 1-2 applicators per side, depending on the patient’s profile.

• Back rolls and bra bulges are easily treated with 1 applicator. 

• The inner thighs can also be treated with 1 applicator on each side, slimming the thighs, and thus eliminating thigh chafing along the upper interiors. 

• Saddle bag treatment also slims thigh width and produces impressive results in just 1session, in most cases. 

• Banana rolls treated through Cryolipolysis reshape and sculpt the lower buttocks, remodeling a more contoured appearance of the buttocks. 

• Above the knee fat can equally be treated with Coolsculpting.  

• Inner arm fat can also be reduced with Coolsculpting in just 2 sessions, spaced 3 months apart.  

• The submental area can also be treated for full facial rejuvenation, by doing away with excess fat, which weighs down the facial oval.  

Coolsculpting® Results

Dr Cozanet remains at your disposal at any time in the days and weeks following the treatment, should you feel the need to touch base for any reason.  

A follow-up consultation will be scheduled to monitor the results with before/after photos, along with calculations of the skinfold thickness which will be measured in the 8-12 weeks after the treatment, programmed according to your personal agenda and treatment road map. 

As per the treatment zone, a Cryolipolysis session can significantly reduce fat (30%-40%), results which satisfy most patients.
Results show up in the 2-3 months following the treatment, when fat cells have been eliminated by the organism and most especially by the macrophages.  

If you would like a 2nd session, it can be performed 2-3 months after the initial treatment, on thicker fat zones, which can only optimize results.

Cryolipolysis Coolsculpting®: Breaking Down the Process

Dr Benjamin Cozanet’s clinic is equipped with the latest Cryolipolysis Coolsculpting® devices, with the ultra-new applicators which provide consistent cooling across a larger treatment area and provide an even deeper diffusion of cold within the fat cells (CoolAdvantage applicators).   

The Cryolipolysis CoolSculpting® treatment (with new applicators) lasts only 35 minutes and covers all body zones except the saddle bag area which requires 1h15 per side. For the submental area, 45 minutes is required.  

Dr Benjamin Cozanet will select the Coolsculpting® applicator which is best suited (CoolAdvantage, CoolAdvantage Plus, CoolPetite, CoolMini, CoolSmooth Pro) to the fat zone target(s).  

Unlike other Cryolipolysis techniques, Coolsculpting® can treat each unique silhouette with finesse and precision thanks to the range of applicator shapes which are perfectly adapted to the varying body contours. 

During the session, Coolsculpting® emits continuous and controlled cold temperatures (between -9 et -11°C) freezing the adipose tissue. Fat cells are highly sensitive to the cold, triggering their crystallization and the natural process of apoptosis (cell death), a long-term elimination.   

No local anesthesia, nor any painkilling treatment are necessary. You can relax throughout the session, read, even work on your laptop, or make calls during the treatment. 

What to Expect after Cryolipolysis

After a Coolsculpting® session, you can immediately resume all your normal activities.

No social downtime, no sun avoidance, no convalescence. No aftercare protocol. Just try to maintain a healthy and balanced diet and regular physical exercise. 

Some redness may appear across the zone(s) in the hours following the treatment. Some swelling (edema) and sensitivity can be experienced. You may see a bruise (hematoma) which is harmless and remains rare.

The treatment zone(s) will feel a little numb for a few days.

If any of these symptoms appear, they will disappear in the 3-14 days following the treatment, without a trace.
